John David Pleasant of San Antonio, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 19, 2008, at the age of 35 years. John was born on June 16, 1973, in San Antonio, TX, the son of Joseph L. "Joe" Pleasant and Cherri L. (Macdecy) Field. He is preceded in death by his brother, Terry Gene Pleasant, grandmother, Viola Macdecy, grandfather, Fred W. Newman, Jr.. John is survived by his parents; brothers, Paul Joseph Pleasant and wife Anita of San Antonio, Matthew Field of Austin; grand father, John Macdecy of San Antonio; grandmother, Betty R.(Smith) Newman of Hondo. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home with pastor Ross Chandler officiating. Burial will follow at the Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
