John Orin Rummel, age 49, of San Antonio passed away Saturday, June 25, 2011. He was born Apr. 30, 1962, in San Antonio, a son of Kenneth Ray and Carolyn Jane (Dramberger) Rummel. He is preceded in death by his mother. John is survived by his wife, Bobbie Anna (Esparza) Rummel of San Antonio; daughters, Kandi Howell and husband Matthew of San Antonio and Stephanie Carlton and husband Casey of Austin; son, John Ryan Rummel; step-daughters, Victoria and Kaylee Davila; grandson, Mason Howell, all of San Antonio; father, Kenneth Rummel of Hondo; sisters, Mary Jo Peters and husband Doug of Hondo, Judy Seals and husband Jim, Karen Blanchette and husband Adam, and Sally Kirk and husband Jody, all of San Antonio; brothers, Mike Rummel and Jeff Rummel and wife Lorina, all of San Antonio. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 28, 6 to 8 p.m., at the Guinn-Horger Chapel with Rosary recited at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
