John William Simmang, born January 12, 1937 went to be with the Lord December 8, 2012 at the age of 75. John is survived by his loving wife of 56 Years Maxine Leinweber Simmang; 4 Sons, John, Bob, Mike and Cary; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. John is also survived by his brother, Orville Simmang and numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. John retired from Kelly Air Force Base after 37 Years. He was an avid sportsman and loved being with his family. A visitation and funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Colonial Funeral Home from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. with the service at 10:00 A.M. Interment will at Hondo Cemetery, Hondo Texas at 1:00 P.M.
