John P. Tondre of D'Hanis, Texas, passed away April 7, 2008, at the age of 89. He was born November 22, 1918 in D'Hanis, Texas to Oscar & Della (Boog) Tondre. John is survived by his son, John P. Tondre, Jr. and wife Tangee of Hondo; daughters, Gayle Schulte and husband Richard of Hondo and Debbie Bullock and husband Rocky of Austin, 8 grand children and 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday April 8, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home. The Rosary will be Wednes April 9 at 10:00 am followed by the Funeral Mass at Holy Cross Catholic Church in D'Hanis. The pallbearers include Rod Schulte, Lee Bullock, Nick Bullock, David Bain, Robby Graff, Chuck Tondre. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in D'Hanis.
