John William Hartman of Hondo, Texas, passed away January 12, 2004, in Hondo, at the age of 81. He was born in Hondo, Texas on August 4, 1922. John William is a retired City of Hondo employee. John W. served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He is preceded in death by his parents: Willie Julius & Alvina Fannie (Wiemers) Hartman; brother: Henry Ben Hartman; sister: Agnes Sophie Mooney. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation is scheduled from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home and the Graveside Service is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at the Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
