Jose Enrique Ibarra Sr., age 62, of D'Hanis passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010. Born Sept. 26, 1947, in D'Hanis, he was the son of the late Basilio G. and Concha (Molina) Ibarra. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, retired from the National Guard, and was a metal electroplater at Kelly Air Force Base. He is survived by his wife, Rosa (Aguilar) Ibarra of D'Hanis; son, Jose Enrique Ibarra Jr. of Laredo; daughter, Sandra Ibarra of D'Hanis; two grandchildren; and sisters, Dolores M. Ibarra of San Antonio, Norma Rodriguez and husband Rumaldo of Dilley, and Patricia Campos and Desi Ozuna of San Antonio. Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 8, followed by the funeral Mass at Holy Cross Catholic Church, D'Hanis. Interment will be at San Francisco Cemetery.
