Jose Alfredo Mora

Jose Alfredo Mora, 56, of Hondo, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on May 11, 1970, in Jacona, Michoacan, to Beatriz & Joaquin Mora. Jose was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend whose kindness & love for his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, Rosendo Mora, Luis Mora, and Joaquin Mora.

He is survived by his loving parents, Beatriz & Joaquin Mora; his devoted wife, Maria Mora; his son, Alfredo Mora; and his daughter, Natalie Mora. He is also survived by his sisters, Estela Mora (Margarito) & Araceli Fernandez (Salvador); and his brothers, Guillermo Mora (Carmen) & Miguel Mora (Crystal).

A private viewing will be held in Hondo, and his ashes will be taken to his hometown in Mexico, where he will be laid to rest.
