Joseph Charles "Joe Boy" Langfeld, age 64, nine months, and 23 days, of D'Hanis, passed away March 31, 2004, in San Antonio. Joe was born on July 8, 1939, in Hondo, TX, to Charles B. & Marcella Johanna (Ney) Langfeld. Joe was preceded in death by his parents; sister: Helen Ann Sigler; brother: Anthony Allen Langfeld. He is survived by his loving wife: Joan Theresa (Carle) Langfeld; daughter: Melissa L. Huggins and husband Harold of San Antonio; sons: Joseph C. Langfeld, Jr. and wife Kerri of San Antonio, Troy A. Langfeld and wife Robin of D'Hanis; seven grandchildren; sisters: Mary Laughinghouse and husband Bill of D'Hanis, Ellen Ayers of Hondo, Carmen Polhemus and husband Paul of Wimberly. Joe retired from Medina Electric Co-op in 2001. The Rosary is scheduled for 10:00 am on Saturday, April 3, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church. with Funeral Mass following. Burial will follow in the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in D'Hanis.
