Mrs. Curtis Wiemers nee Joy Lynn Herbort of D'Hanis passed away in a San Antonio Hospital on Friday, October 19th at the age of 53 years. Mrs. Joy Lynn Wiemers is survived by her husband, Curtis Wiemers of D'Hanis, Texas; Two Sons and spouses, Shane and Chrissy Lipke of New Braunfels, Brandon and Sarah Wiemers of San Antonio; One Grandson, Case Lipke of New Braunfels; Two Sisters, Suzanne and Stephen Wertheim of Kendalia, Nancy and Keith Lindig of Stonewall; Father and spouse, Elmer and Vivian Herbort of Blanco; Mother and spouse, Adeline and Al Carter of Fredericksburg; Two Step Brothers and One Step Sister, Gary and Kay Langerhans of Austin, Ronnie and Marcia Langerhans of Austin, Linda Martin of Austin. The body will lie in state in the chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home, Fredericksburg on Sunday, October 21 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and from 7:00 A.M. until 12:15 P.M. on Monday, October 22nd and from 1:00 till 2:00 P.M. in the Bethany Lutheran Church with Funeral Services at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Casey Zesch officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow in Der Stadt Friedhof. For those who so desire you may make memorial contributions in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, Odyssey House Hospice or to the charity of your choice. The family will greet friends on Sunday from 4:00 till 7:00 P.M. in the chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home, Fredericksburg.
