Joyce Marie Balzen Landrum passed away Monday, Aug. 29, 2022, at age 94.

She was born in Quihi, Texas, April 20, 1928, she was the daughter of Hugo and Luren Schweers Balzen.

Joyce was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church as well as the Hondo Art League for many years. Her favorite pastime time was watercolor painting.

She is survived by her husband, Lester R. Landrum; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Ron Love; son, Lester Patrick Landrum; daughter and son-in-law, Tania Lynn and Richard Allbritton; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Erna Balzen; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; niece, nephew and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 10, at Quihi Cemetery, CR 4517, south of the Quihi Gun Club.
