Juan Gonzales Tapia, age 57, of Hondo, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013. Born Feb. 16, 1956, in Hondo, he was the son of Manuel and Estefanita (Gonzales) Tapia. He was a road construction distributor/operator. He is preceded in death by parents and siblings, Eusebio, Raymundo, and Jose G.Tapia, Simona Vasquez, and Alicia Ybarra. Surviving are his wife, Sylvia Wren; stepson, Joseph Wren; siblings, Rafael Tapia and wife Eluteria, Ernesto Tapia, Benita Quintanilla and husband Alex, and Joaquin Tapia, all of Hondo; Catarina Bustos, Richard Dean Miller and Ricky Vosquez. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 9, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Chapel.
