Juana (Rodriguez) Garcia, age 86, of Hondo passed away Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006. She was born July 12, 1920, in Long Beach, CA. Juana is preceded in death by her parents, Roberto and Francisco (Dorado) Rodriguez; sons, Armando and John Henry; brother, Antonio Rodriguez; and sisters, Maria R. Batton and Maria De Jesus Salazar. She is survived by her children, Teodoro Renteria, Olga Leal, Jessie R. Garcia, Patricia G. Mares, Abelardo R. Garcia, Jr., El Ray Garcia; sister, Berta Sanchez, Martin Rodriguez, Enriqueta Aspetia; brother, Martin Rodriguez; 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren. The Guinn-Horger Chapel will be open for visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29. Rosary will be recited Friday at 7 p.m. at the Guinn-Horger Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, Sept. 30, 4 p.m., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment will be at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
