On Monday, December 20, 2020, Julia Maizelle Crow Biddle, loving mother and grandmother, passed away at the age of 89 in Hondo, Texas.

Julie was born Sept. 15, 1931, in Hondo to V. H. "Buster" and Edra Clark Crow.  After attending Baylor University for a time, Julie married Dale Biddle of Bloomington, Illinois, there they raised their children, Terry, Michael and Patrick .

Julie relocated to Texas in the early 1970s to be close to her sister and parents.  She worked successfully for many years as a nurse's assistant and caregiver.

Julie will be remembered for her kind disposition, zany sense of humor and persevering character.  She loved dancing, traveling and every manner of sports.

Julie was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Terry Biddle Boone; and son, Patrick Biddle.

She is survived by her son, Michael (Sharon) Biddle, of Bloomington, IL; her sister, Ruth Crow Firsching and husband Stanley Bull of Utopia and Kerrville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all living in Illinois; and nieces and nephews, Tracy Firsching, Donald Firsching, Dana Pickens and Jay Firsching. Also left to cherish her memory is Gracie Garcia of Hondo, her trusted friend and caregiver in her later years.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
