Julia Gonzales of D'Hanis, Texas, passed away May 9, 2004, at the age of 61. Julia was born on January 28, 1943, to Atilano & Esperiona (Morales) Garcia in Hondo. She was preceded by her parents; brother-in-laws: Baltazar Montalvo, and Guadalupe Aguinaga. She is survived by husband Jose E. Gonzales of D'Hanis; daughters: Donna Marie Rodriguez and husband Abel, Jr., Belinda Ann Gonzales-Mejia and husband Edward all of D'Hanis; son: David Ray Gonzales of Austin; four grandchildren; brothers: Ramon Garcia and wife Rosie of Uvalde, Roman and wife Celia of D'Hanis, Emilio Garcia and wife Rosemary of San Antonio, Domingo Garcia of D'Hanis, Jose Garcia of San Antonio, Henrique Garcia and wife Irma of San Antonio; sisters: Ernestina Montalvo of Pasadina, Josefina Rodriguez of San Antonio, Maria Aguinago of Hondo. The Rosary will be at 7:00 pm Tuesday May 11, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in D'Hanis. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Wednesday May 12, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church. The pallbearers werre: Orlando Garcia, Esteban Jose Garcia, Chris E. Rodriguez, Sr., Robert Rodriguez, Pete Gonzales, Henrique Garcia, Jr. Interment will follow in San Francisco Cemetery in D'Hanis.
