Keith Eugene
Marsh - "Hillbilly"
June 10, 1962 – December 21, 2025
Keith Eugene "Hillbilly" Marsh of Hondo made his eternal ride on Sunday, 21 DEC 2025. He was 63 years of age.
Born June 10, 1962, in Brookhaven, Mississippi, he was the son of Percy D. Marsh and Maxine White Thames.
A devoted United States Marine, Keith served honorably beginning in 1979 in numerous deployments and conflicts around the world. In 2005, he retired with the rank of Staff Sergeant after honorably executing his given missions while passionately upholding the US Marine motto "Semper Fidelis" (Always Faithful).
Before his military retirement, Keith joined the Rough Riders Motorcycle Club in 1994 and served well until his passing. Here, Keith forged a brotherhood with Spike, Batman, and Dutchman, calling themselves "the four horseman of the apocalypse". Keith also worked in the oil field as a directional driller. His passion and ethic for flawless execution drove him to be, according to many, the best in the business! Despite his occupation as a driller, he was better known for his passion of motorcycles.
Keith was always busy. However, the only things that caused his body and his bike to rest were his wife, his kids, and his grandkids. This was only because it gave him the oppurtunity to put them on the bike with him. In this, he loved creating and passing down a generational love for motorcycles to his sons of which he was successful.
He is preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, James Thames; infant brother, Shon Thames; and sister, Virginia Reese.
He is survived by his wife, Kelly; daughter, Alice Walton (Jeremy) of Gist TX; sons, Christopher Choat (Fawn) of Panama City FL, Keith Marsh Jr. of Panama City Beach FL, and Robert Barry Marsh (Skylar) of Moore TX; seven grandchildren; sister, Sharon Thomas (Gerald); brothers, Jim Thames (Sonya) and Charlie Thames (Katie); and numerous nieces and nephews.
His life will be celebrated at 1200, Saturday, 10 JAN 2026, at the VFW hall, 3008 US Hwy. 90W, Hondo, TX 78861. Later, his final ride will be to Orange, TX where his ashes will rest near other family members.
