Kevin Eric Daberko of Sabinal passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at the age of 25.

Born March 21, 1997, in Hondo, he was the son of Dennis Wayne and Alice Ann Schan Daberko.

Kevin attended school in Sabinal from Head Start through high school, graduating in 2015. Always willing to help, he was up for any work he was given, sometimes for pay sometimes just from the goodness of his heart to help others.

He and his friends enjoyed playing video games and sharing time with each other.

Described by family as a caring, loving son and grandson and a loyal, wonderful brother, Kevin was also an awesome uncle who was dearly loved by his niece and nephew. He was and always will be truly loved and will be forever missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Glen Pringle, Ina Mae Schan and Wilbert "Curley" Schan.

Kevin is survived by his parents; sister, Kristin Daberko; niece, Mikaela Bales; nephew, Wyatt Bales, all of Sabinal; grandmother, Jo Beth Pringle of Uvalde; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family and friends will begin to gather at 10:30 a.m. and  a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 4, at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Chapel in Hondo.
