Kita Vereecken Schuehle

Kita Vereecken Schuehle, 77, passed away on February 7, 2026.

Kita lived boldly and with conviction. Vibrant and flamboyant, she could be found in any room — her presence impossible to miss. She loved music, loved to dance, and believed life was meant to be celebrated out loud. She also had a deep love for animals and brought warmth wherever she went.

She is survived by her loving husband, Hunter; her daughter, Kyla Burell; her son-in-law, Cody; her granddaughter, Phoebe; her sister, Lulu; and her brother, Billy. Her bold spirit and love will live on through them.

A graveside service will be held Monday, February 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Hondo Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a local animal rescue in her memory.

She will be deeply missed.
