Kolby James Adlong of Hondo, 25, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021.

Born Nov. 10, 1995 in San Antonio, he was the son of Kirk Joseph and Jennifer Anne Fletcher Adlong.

Kolby graduated college from TSTC in Waco. He worked for Williams Electric for 9 years, he had recently begun a new journey in his career starting his own business 'The A.G. Shop' with Collin Graff. Kolby was a very hard worker with great craftsmanship skills.

He was a very respectful, loving, friend to everyone he met. Kolby was the life of the party; his silliness (the family's "goober") was always guaranteed to put a smile on everyone's face.

Kolby recently went on a men's retreat through the Riding the River Cowboy Fellowship Church, the retreat brought him close to God which shined through him. Since the retreat he became very involved in the Riding the River Cowboy Fellowship.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Kathy Adlong and Phillip Fletcher.

He is survived by his parents, Kirk and Jennifer Adlong; wife, Kailee Thompson-Adlong; grandmother, Margaret Fletcher; sisters, Kaitlyn (Derek) Bernal and Kassie (Jacob) Boettcher; "Uncle Bub's" nieces and nephews, Dayton, Brynnlan, and Kamryn Bernal and Koen Boettcher, along with aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will also be missed by numerous lifelong friends he looked at as family.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 11:00 am in The Barn at the South Texas Maize, 911 US-90 E, Hondo, TX 78861
