Kristi Rowell Clendennen passed away unexpectedly on January 13, 2025, in Austin, Texas. Kristi was born May 12, 1978, in San Antonio TX, to the late Bob and Kathryn Rowell.

Kristiwas preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law, Franklin Clendennen; grandparents, Marion and Irene Muennink and Russell and Helen Rowell.

Kristi was a clinical nurse specialist in Austin. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006 with a Master of Science in Nursing.

Her greatest joy was being with her husband and children. The family loved to travel and when they weren't traveling they were busy with their children's sports. Kristi also enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors with her family.

Kristi is survived by her husband Scott; their three children, Kirsten, Kalli and Caleb; and her mother-in-law, Joyce Clendennen, as well as aunts, Marianne Sandidge and Rita Mechler, along with close cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6300 W. William Cannon, Austin TX, on Sunday, Jan. 26, at 11 a.m. A celebration of life gathering will be held later that day at the Mystic Sky Ranch in Dripping Springs, beginning at 1 p.m.

The final burial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2025, at New Fountain Methodist Church, 2980 FM 2676, Hondo TX 78861. Interment will follow at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to New Fountain Methodist Church.
