Lara Thompson Campbell, age 53, of Hondo, passed away Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, in San Antonio. She was born Jan. 10, 1955, the daughter of William L. and Patricia Ann (Cochran) Thompson, who preceded her in death. She was a bookkeeper with the California Department of Forestry. Lara is survived by her sisters, Cheri Lynn Rogers of California and Lynda Hook and husband David of Hondo; and brother, James Robert Thompson and wife Rebecca of California. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held Friday, Dec. 19, 1:30 p.m., at First Baptist Church of Hondo.
