Lee Thomas "Tom" Stalsby, age 37, of Hondo passed away Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010. Born Nov. 11, 1972, in San Antonio, he was the son of Lee Terrell Stalsby and Cecelia Frances (Pawelek) Stalsby. He was self-employed, a motorcycle enthusiast (trike), and a member of TRMA and the Chapter of One-Eyed Jack. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Leon and Proxie Pawelek and Ruby Stalsby. Survivors are his parents; aunt, Bernadette M."Bonnie" Pawelek of Hondo; uncle and aunt, Edward and Elizabeth Pawelek of Hondo; great-aunts, Gladys Moczygemba and Rose Pardinek, both of San Antonio; special neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Wilks, whom he called Grandpa and Grandma; many cousins, neighbors, and motorcycle friends. A memorial funeral Mass will be held Saturday, Oct. 9, 11 a.m., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, followed by a wake. A farewell motorcycle cavalcade will be held Sunday.
