Leoniel D. "Lonny" Rodriguez of Hondo, Texas, passed away November 4, 2005, at the age of 50. He was born August 11, 1955, in Hondo, the son of Reymundo B. & Edilia (Dominguez) Rodriguez. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law Anselmo Rodriguez; niece Bonita Marie Rodriguez Bottorf and great-niece Kaliah Athena Noelani Bottorf. Leoniel is survived by his wife Soila R. Rodriguez of Hondo; daughter Celina R. Guedea and husband Jesus E. of Kansas City, KS; sons Leoniel Rodriguez, Jr. of Hondo, Jose Rodriguez of Hondo; stepdaughter Rebecca Garza and companion Garrick Lewis of Hondo; stepson Henry Garza, Jr. of Hondo; step daughters Leeann Quintanilla and husband Manuel of Hondo, Stephanie Bonacci and husband Griffin of Magna, UT; 10 grandchildren; parents Reymundo & Edilia Rodriguez of Hondo; mother-in-law Rosita Rodriguez of Hondo. The Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and the Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr Jeff Pehl, will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday November 9, at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hondo. The pallbearers are Rojelio Costa, Luciano Garcia, Ernesto Benavides, David Rangel, Efrain Barrios, Ronnie Garcia. Interment will follow in Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
