Leticia Aguinaga, of Hondo, passed away at the age of 58 on Friday, February 20, 2026, in San Antonio. She was born on February 25, 1967, in Hondo, Texas, to Guadalupe and Maria del Rosario Aguinaga.

Leticia attended Hondo High School and went on to earn her associate's degree from Southwest Texas Junior College. She cherished spending time with her family and friends and rarely missed an opportunity to attend her grandchildren's sporting events. Her laughter was infectious to all who knew her. Her faith in the Lord was important to her and brought her comfort throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Cassandra Suehs; and her brother, Wayne Aguinaga.

Leticia is survived by her sons, Christopher L. Suehs and Mark Anthony Suehs (Paige); her daughter, Monica Owen (Ben); her brothers, Guadalupe and Eugene Aguinaga; and her beloved grandchildren, Catlynn, Kais, Brent, Jade, Trinity, and Brazos

She will be remembered for her laughter, her big heart, and the love she had for her family.

Romans 14:8: "If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord"

A celebration of Leticia's life will be held on Friday, March 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Hondo Community Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
