Lilla Mae Gant, Age 86 years, 8 months, and 16 days, of Hondo, Texas, died on Friday, October 22, 2004. She was born in Bowie, Texas on February 6, 1918, the daughter of William Wilburn & Billie Alton (Booth) Prichard. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather Benjamin Hipp; son Walter Dane "Chip" Gant; brothers Booth Prichard, Wesley Prichard; husband Walter Cecil Gant. Lilla is survived by her sister Willa D. Been of Hondo; nieces: Barbara Been White, Susan Herbst, Jeanine Hutchison; nephews David Prichard, John M. Been, James Been; grandson Christopher Gant (Mindy) Visitation was on Monday, October 25, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm athe the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Wednesday, October 27, at the Craddock Funeral Home in Ardmore, OK. The burial will follow in the Rosehill Cemetery in Ardmore.
