Lillian Elizabeth (Britsch) Schumann, age 93, of San Antonio passed away Monday, Aug. 25, 2008, in Boerne. Lillian was born May 17, 1915, in Hondo, the daughter of Willie and Frances Magdelene (Weiss) Britsch. She was a homemaker. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eddie F. Schumann; brothers, Lawrence Britsch and Joe Britsch; and sister, Corine Britsch. She is survived by daughters, Judith Ellen "Judy" Hedrick and husband Harry of San Antonio and Janice Leah Espenhover and husband Mike of Boerne; sons, Leslie Joe "Les" Schumann of Mathis and Carl Schuman and wife Skeeter of Pipe Creek; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Inez Iltis of Castroville. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Chapel in Hondo. The Casket Bearers were Glenn Hedrick, Wayne Taylor, Steve Hedrick, Dave Hedrick, Bill Salzman, Carl Schumann. Interment will be at Hondo Cemetery, St. John's Section.
