Louis Cortez of D'Hanis passed away Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2020. He was 95.

Born Oct. 11. 1924, in D'Hanis, he was the son of Maximo and Josefa Lombrana Cortez.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Esther Flores Cortez; infant son, Billy F. Cortez; brother, Adolfo L. Cortez; and sister, Juanita C. Torres.

He is survived by his son, Danny (Gloria) Cortez of Kerrville; two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, Sept. 14, at Guinn-Horger Chapel. Interment will be at San Francisco Cemetery, D'Hanis.
