Louise Van Cleve, age 80, formerly of Uvalde, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012, in Hondo. Born Mar. 21, 1932, in Del Rio, she was the daughter of John and Pearl (Light) Van Cleve. She was a nurse and had lived in Uvalde, where she was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and Leroy, Jack, John, Jr., Beatrice, Thelma McManus. She is survived by nephews, Alvin McManus and wife Maureen of San Martin CA, Don McManus of Syracuse UT, Jack Van Cleve and Jimmy Van Cleve, both of Cotulla. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at La Pryor Cemetery in La Pryor.
