Luis F. "Louie" Saucedo, age 81, of Hondo passed away Monday, Mar. 26, 2007. He was born in Pearsall Aug. 18, 1925, the son of Antonio and Luz (Flores) Saucedo. He retired as a caster after 30 years at Universal-Rundle Corp. Louie is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Felix Saucedo; and sisters, Elvira Turruviate, Estefana Trinidad, and Trini Garcia. He is survived by his wife, Refugia H. "Cuca" Saucedo; daughter, Raquel Saucedo; and many nieces and nephews. Rosary will be recited Tuesday, Mar. 27, and Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, both at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. The pallbearers were Armando Hernandez, Arturo N. Hernandez, Juan N. Hernandez, Richard R. Trinidad, Ramiro Garcia, Enrique Turruviate. Interment will be at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
