Guadalupe "Lupe (Trinidad) Rangel, Age 63 years, 10 months, and 7 days, of Hondo, Texas, died on Sunday, August 29, 2004, at Home. She was born in Hondo, Texas on October 22, 1940, the daughter of Encarnacion & Marcaria (Rodriguez) Trinidad. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Ernesto Z. "Neto" Rangel; and an infant daughter. Lupe is survived by her sons: Ernesto Rangel, Jr. and wife Veronica of Bandera, David Rangel and wife Arleen of Hondo, Ruben Rangel and wife Doris of Hondo; 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; brothers: Jesus Trinidad and wife Elisia of Hondo, Ruben Garza and Albert Garza both of Dallas; sister: Feliz Garza of Hondo. The Rosary will be Wednesday, September 1, at 7:00 pm at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Thursday September 2, at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. The Pallbearers were: George Villa, Sr., Roy Contreras, Sr., Bernardo Bernal, Rudy Tapia, Pedro Garza, Jr., Enrique Garza, Jose Damian Garza, Lucian Garcia, Sr. Burial will follow in the Hondo Cemetery, Guadalupe Section.
