Lydia Santos Ibarra of Hondo passed away Monday, July 25, 2022, at the age of 84.

Born in Hondo, Jan. 1, 1938, she was the daughter of Jose DeLeon Santos and Maria Rodriguez Santos.

Lydia was loving and caring to all who came into her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Armando Ibarra; son,Henry Ibarra; and sisters, Agedita Reyes and Josefina Rodriguez.

Survivors include her children, Jerry Ibarra (Edna),  Linda Ibarra and Michael Ibarra (Margie), all of Hondo, and Bobby Ibarra (Margie)of D'Hanis. and the late Henry Ibarra; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren;  sisters, Sophia Leyba (Jesus), Hope Campos, Vangie Pimentel (Lupe), Pauline Avila (G.O.), Carolina Castillo and Belia Benavides; and brothers, Amador Santos and Joe Santos Jr.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 27, at 9:00 a.m. followed by Rosary at 9:30 and Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment will be at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
