Lydia Pearl Sapp, age 74, passed away, April 9, 2005. She was born in Rockdale, Texas, on December 22, 1930, the daughter of Richard Elmer & Lydia Mae (William) Eaken. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ireland Sapp; son Ronnie Mack Tumlinson; stepdaughter Darlene Kent; brother Elmer Richard Eaken. She is survived by her son Oren Lee Sapp and wife Joyce of Hondo; daughter Joyce Spivey and husband Steve of Hondo; stepsons Michael Sapp of San Antonio, Ireland L. Sapp, Jr. and wife Sharon of San Antonio; stepdaughter Margaret Fay Dick of Natalia; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; sisters Jewel Powell of La Vernia, Lovie Marie Owens of Rockdale, Lula Mae Reather of CA, Helen Joyce Sorensen of MO. The funeral home will open to the public at 2:30 p.m. prior to the Funeral Service at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14 at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home. The casket carriers were Derek L. Sapp, Daniel Andreas, Ronnie Tumlinson, Dwight Andeas, Rudy E. Moos, Gary Moore. Interment will follow at the Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
