Lynn Ray Martin, age 55, of D'Hanis passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2010. He was born Jan. 27, 1954, in Poteet, the son of Wilkes Otto and Lillian Anna (Bendele) Martin. He was preceded in death by his father, Wilkes Martin, and his father-in-law, Frank David Nehr. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Frances (Nehr) Martin of D'Hanis; daughters, Lisa Jo Martin and Candice Yvonne Martin, and son, Brett Kyle Martin, all of Uvalde; mother, Lillian Martin of Hondo; brothers, Bruce G. Maretin and wife Patricia of Hondo and Richard Martin anad wife Jessica of San Antonio; sisters, Peggy Clark and husband Robin of Uvalde and Melinda Martin of Hondo; mother-in-law, Rebecca Nehr of D'Hanis; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, brothers- and sisters-in-law. Rosary, followed by Mass at 10 a.m., was on Friday, June 25, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Pallbearers were Ron Squires, Kevin Staton, Joe E. Nehr, Ryan Wiemers, Frank D. Nehr, Jr., Bobby Tschirhart, Bobby Cox and Keith Martin. Interment was at Holy Cross Cemetery, D'Hanis.
