Mabel Ernestine Weynand, Age 85 years, 4 months, and 20 days, of Hondo, Texas, died on Wednesday, December 1, 2004. She was born in D'Hanis, on July 11, 1919, the daughter of Henry Leo & Louisa Hildegard (Rihn) Weynand. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Wallace Jacob "Jake" Weynand, Lawrence H. Weynand, Myles M. Weynand, Weldon Leo "Pete" Weynand, sister-in-law Betty (Sampier) Weynand. Mabel is survived by her sister-in-laws Nellie (Poerner) Weynand of Hondo, Matilda (John) Weynand, E. Jean (Sampier) Weynand. The Rosary followed by the Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Friday, December 3, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in D'Hanis. The pallberers were Greg Wolff, Ray A. Wolff, Joey Weynand, Daniel S. Weynand, Mitch Weynand, Mike Weynand. Burial followed in the Holy Cross Cemetery, D'Hanis.
