Mamyedel Rieber Schneider of D'Hanis passed away July 13, 2009. She was born March 7, 1923, to Joseph and Daisy Rieber. She is preceded in death by her son, Luther Russell "Rusty" Attaway Jr., and grandson, Travis Wayne Attaway. She retired from being Deputy County Clerk for Medina County for many years. Survivors are her loving husband of 54 years, Andrew L. Schneider; daughters, Barbara Attaway and Brenda Attaway Riegel and husband Carl; son, Tom Attaway and wife Dorothy; daughter-in-law, Judy Attaway; sister, Jeneva "Pete" Boyle; grandchildren, Carl Riegel II and wife Kim, Troy Riegel and wife Amy, Lance Attaway and wife Anita, Jill Beard and husband Warren, and Mardy Stuman and husband Scott; and great-grandchildren, Ashley Nicole, Chelsea Daniele and Carl Gene Riegel III, Chance Timothy and Collin Charles Riegel, Thomas Lee, Brighton Lace and Peyton Jewel Beard, Allie Nicolle and Kyle Andrew Stuman, Landon Robert and Lawson Ryland Attaway; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 16, at the Guinn-Horger Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 9:45 a.m., followed by the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Friday, July 17, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in D'Hanis, with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
