Manuel Rodriguez Aguilar, age 95, passed away on August 12, 2005 in Hondo, Texas. He was born on February 26, 1910, in Mexico, the son of Sotero & Porfiria (Rodriguez) Aguilar. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Sista (Ramirez) Aguilar; sisters Maria Ramirez, Sabina Muniz, Francisca Aguilar, Rosita Haro, Josefa Aguilar; brothers Esteban Aguilar, Lino Aguilar, Gabriel Aguilar, Juan Aguilar. Manuel is survived by his daughters Andrea Treviño of Castroville, Delia Perez of San Antonio; Angelita Ramirez and husband Saragosa of Lubbock; 8 grandechildren, 18 great grandchildren. The Rosary will be Monday, August 15, at 7:00 p.m. at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home in Hondo, and the Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. at the St.John the Evangelist Catholic Church officiated by Fr. Jeff Pehl. Pallbearers were Joseph Ramirez, Jesse Cortez, Albert Cortez, Ricky Cortez, Joey Ramirez, Anthony Cortez. Burial will follow in the Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
