Margaret M. Fielder Bali, age 95, of Hondo passed away Aug. 22, 2013. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, she was the daughter of Frank "Bruno" and Mary (Burke) Fielder. Marge was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, golfing and playing cards every chance she got. She also enjoyed volunteering for various projects and organizations and her church. She served as a church greeter, was a member of the Altar Society, Bereavement Committee and the Order of Mary. Marge was named Medina Community Hospital Auxiliary Outstanding Volunteer of the Year in May 2003. A member for more than 15 years at that time, she had crocheted over a thousand afghans for the auxiliary thrift shop. Still an active volunteer with the Medina County Meals On Wheels program, she was recently named a nominee for the Meals On Wheels Association of America Volunteer of the Year award. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Michael Bali; grandson, Thomas Moore; brother, Frank Fielder; and sisters, Rita Fielder, Doris Fielder and Theresa Bournique. Survivors include her son, Michael Bali Jr. and wife Ginny of Amarillo; daughters, Elizabeth "Betty" Bali Moore of Terlingua, Catherine Yuracka and husband Joseph of San Marcos and Theresa Aelvoet and husband Andrew of Hondo; grandchildren, Tina Teweleit and husband Russ, Jeff Bali and wife Anja, Stephanie Moore, Brandy Dumalet and husband Etienne, Megan Smith and husband Matthew, and Drake Aelvoet; great-grandchildren, Ryan Bali, Lukas Bali, Lindsay Teweleit, Matthew Teweleit and Camille Dumalet; and brother, James Fielder of New Jersey. Visitation will be Monday, Aug. 26, 6 to 8 p.m., at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Chapel, with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, Aug. 27, 10 a.m., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section. Pallbearers are Drake Aelvoet, Matthew Smith, Russ Teweleit, David G. Aelvoet, Paul Aelvoet and Etienne Dumalet.
