Margarita Garcia of Yancey passed away Saturday, May. 23, 2020. She was 71.

Born in Hondo, Dec. 4, 1948, she was the daughter of Sisto Garcia and Inocencia Flores Garcia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Samuel Garcia, Sr.; son, Juan Garcia; brothers, Alfredo, Jose and Ramon Garcia; and sister, Oralia Muñiz.

Survivors include her sons, Samuel Garcia Jr. of San Antonio and Daniel Garcia (Maria) of Yancey; granddaughter, Keirah Davis (Garrett) and great-granddaughter, Kainsly Davis, all of Falls City; brothers, Victor and Julian Garcia, both of San Antonio.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 27, 9:30 to 10 a.m., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Rosary will be at 10:00 a.m., followed by Funeral Mass at 10:30. Interment will be at Hondo Cemetery.
