Margarita T. Palomo, age 89, passed away, April 27, 2005. She was born in Mexico, on August 10, 1915, the daughter of Hilario & Josefina (Mendoza) Tapia. She was a member ot the Guadalupanas. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Fernando Palomo; sons Felix Palomo, Miguel Palomo, Antonio Palomo, Tomas Palomo; daughters Juanita Rodriguez, Anita Palomo; brothers Alfredo Tapia, Manuel Tapia, Francisco Tapia; sisters Carmel Duenas, Jesusa Nira, Ramona Perez, Juanita Quintanilla. She is survived by her sons Ascencion "Chon" Palomo of Hondo, Domingo Palomo of Sabinal, Marcelino Palomo of San Antonio, Ramon Palomo of Seguin; daughters Guadalupe "Lupe" Rico of Bandera, Martina Garza of Houston, Antonia Fernandez of Bandera, Rose Gardiner of Liverpool, Delia Angel of Cocoa, FL, Sandra Palomo of Houston; 35 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren; sister Lela Barrios of Hondo. The Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, at the Guinn Horger Funeral Home and Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 2 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. The pallbearers were John Torres, Boney Valdes, Eddy Guajardo, Mario Moreno, Patrick A. Ojeda, Tereso Hernandez. Burial followed at the Hondo Cemetery, Guadalupe Section.
