Maria Rodriguez Barron of Hondo, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at the age of 85 years. Maria was born on November 2, 1922, in Cuatro Cienegas, Coah, Mexico, the daughter of Antonio Reyna & Rita Fonoseca (Martinez) Rodriguez. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bonifacio Serrano Barron; sister, Guadalupe Rodriguez Martinez, Catalina Rodriguez Martinez, Juanita Rodriguez Martinez; brother, Hipolito Martinez Rodriguez. Maria is survived by her sons, Juan Luis Serrano Rodriguez and wife Maria of Mexico, Saturnino Serrano Rodriguez and wife Maria of Mexico; daughters, Socorro Serrano Garza and husband Antonio of Hondo, Alma Serrano Esparza and husband Raul of Chicago; 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; brother, Antonio Martinez Rodriguez, Jr. Maria was buried in Mexico.
