Maria Sylvia (Gonzales) Gonzales, age 58, of D'Hanis passed away Friday, Feb. 16, 2007, at her home. Sylvia was born in Hondo Dec. 5, 1948. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Gregoria (Ibarra) Gonzales, and brother, George Gonzales. She is survived by her husband, Enrique Gonzales of D'Hanis; sons, Jose E. Gonzales and wife Rosalinda of D'Hanis, George Gonzales and wife Jessica of Sabinal, Marcos A. Gonzales and wife Dolores Gauna of D'Hanis, John Gabriel Gonzales and wife Virginia Borrego of Sabinal; daughter, Marisa Gonzales and husband Martin Gonzales of Hondo; brother, Juan M. Gonzales of D'Hanis; sisters, Christina Lopez and husband Agapito of Pearsall and Rita Gonzales of Floresville; and 11 grandchildren. Visitation and Rosary will be held Monday, Feb. 19, at the Guinn-Horger Chapel, Hondo. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, D'Hanis, with Fr. Wallis J. Stiles officiating both services. The pallbearers were Jeffrey Sauceda, Ruben Ybarra, Agapito Lopez, Jr., Michael Lopez, Julio Gomez, Arturo Rangel. Interment will follow at San Francisco Cemetery, D'Hanis.
