Maria de Jesusa Garza of Hondo, Texas, passed away December 15, 2005, at the age of 86. She was born June 5, 1919, in D'Hanis, the daughter of Jesus & Maria (Aguilar) Constante. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jose Garza; sons Antonio Garza, Nicolas Garza; daughter Andrea Del Toro; son-in-law Joseph Rivera; brothers Francisco Constante, Jenaro Constante; sisters Maranita Constante, Juanita Constante, Leonorsita Constante. Maria is survived by her sons Juan Garza and wife Maria of Dallas, David Garza of Hondo; daughters Teodora Rivera of Hondo, Petra Guajardo and husband Reymondo of Hondo; 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; brothers Antonio Constante of Hondo, Trinidad Constante of Hondo; sister Consuela Correa of Hondo. The Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 16, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home and the Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr Jeff Pehl, will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday December 17, at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hondo. The pallbearers were Ray Guajardo, Johnny Guajardo, Michael Rivera, Chris Rivera, Fernando Garcia, Joe Garza. Interment will follow in Hondo Cemetery, Guadalupe Section.
