Maria "Bebita" Perez Ramirez, age 80, of Hondo passed away Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, at her home. Born in Hondo, Oct. 9, 1933, she was the daughter of Martin and Angelita (Garcia) Perez. Bebita worked as a waitress for many years and was a loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Martin, and twins, Jose and Jesus. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Porfirio "Pilo" Ramirez; daughter, Delia Ramirez and husband Robert; son, Rolando Ramirez, all of Hondo; three grandchildren, Ramsey (whom she raised as a son), Rhonda and Randy Ramirez, all of Hondo; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and sister, Carmen Hernandez and husband Juan of Hondo. Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 26, from 5 to 8 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m., at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 27, 10 a.m., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery, Guadalupe Section. Pallbearers are Ramsey Ramirez, Randy Ramirez, John De Los Santos , James Ramirez, Tobias Rehr, Zakry Ramirez, Michael Rodriguez and Damien Rehr.
