Martha "Pug" Daniel Schweers passed away peacefully December 4, 2005, in her home. She was born in Powell County Kentucky October 13, 1920, and lived there until she was 5 when she moved to Texas. Mrs. Schweers moved to Hondo, Texas, in 1940 after her marriage to Frank E. Schweers. She was a homemaker, part time worker at the local grain scales for many years, and assisted her husband in farming and ranching. Mrs. Schweers was preceeded in death by her parents, C. C. and Henrietta Daniel; her brother, Guyn Daniel; her husband Frank E. Schweers; and her daughter, Audrey Louise Schweers. Surviving her is her sister, Mary Annis Daniel Sikes, formerly of San Antonio and now McGregor, Texas; her step son, Ronald and wife Julie Schweers;four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Also, surviving are nephews Mark and wife Becky Sikes, E. D. "Dutch" and wife Susie Sikes, and niece Portia and husband Robert Mckown. She is survived by other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, cousins, and special friends and caretakers, Consuello and David Trevinio of Hondo. The visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home and the Graveside Service will be at 1:30 pm on Wednesday December 7, 2005, at the Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section
