Martin Horace Ney, Jr., a native of D'Hanis, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025, in San Antonio. He was 77.

Born Oct. 17, 1947, in Hondo, he was the son of Martin Horace Ney, Sr. and Stella Caroline Finger Ney, both of whom preceded him in death.

He is survived by his siblings, Audrey N. Lee, Patrick Ney and Mark Ney (Sherri); nieces and nephews, Nicole Motl (Greg), Jessica Valle (Brian), Cody Ney (Haley), Andrea Hunt (Ryan), Christy Butler (J.C.); and 11 great-nieces and nephews.

Graveside service and interment will be at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Holy Cross #2 Cemetery in D'Hanis.
