Marvin Melton Muennink, was born June 23, 1909, in Rural Hondo, TX, the son of George H. and Amanda A. (Stiegler) Muennink. Marvin of Hondo, passed away September 8, 2003, at the age of 94 years, two months, 16 days in Hondo. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister: Alice Schulte. He is survived by his wife: Lillian (Burge) Muennink, stepdaughter: Jane Martin and husbandClair of New Jersy; step grandchildren: Rush, Paris and Clementine Martin; nieces: Happy Hinman of San Antonio, and Holly Breaux of Houston. Visitation is scheduled from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home and the Funeral Service will be Friday, September 12, 2:00 p.m., at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hondo. Burial will follow in the Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section. Arrangements were by Guinn-Horger Funeral Home, Hondo.
