Mary Louise Condel, age 96, born May 9, 1919, in Concan, TX, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016, in San Antonio. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank; parents, Mary and J. Edward Meyer; sisters, Iris Sawyer and Blanche Doyle; brothers, Carlos and Sam Meyer. After graduating from D'Hanis High School as Valedictorian of her class, she went to Draughan's Business College in San Antonio. She married Frank G. Condel Jr. in 1942 and had a daughter and a son, taking on the role of full time homemaker. During their school years, Mary Louise was very active in the PTA of Graebner Elementary, Lowell Jr. High and Burbank High schools, as well as San Antonio ISD PTA City Council and was awarded a life membership. Mary Louise deeply loved her family and working with her flowers. She is survived by her daughter, Rosemary Louise (Louis) Mazzurana; son, Frank "Gerry" (Carolyn) Condel; grandchildren, Monica Mazzurana, Garrett (Amina) Condel and Laurie Louise (Tammy) Condel; and six beloved great-grandchildren, Lauren, Brittany, Gavin, Jonathan, Logan and Tyler. The family thanks Carol Ann's Home and Heart to Heart Hospice for their care during Mary's final days and also would like to express gratitude to John and Elizabeth Sanciuc, and friends and family for their help and support. Memorials may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice or charity of your choice. Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 12, 2 p.m., at Guinn-Horger Chapel, Hondo, with interment at Hondo Cemetery.
