Mary Jane Garcia Arausa of Hondo, age 63, passed away Friday, Nov. 10, 2023.

Born in Hondo, Nov. 8, 1960, she was the daughter of Augustine Sr., and Trinidad Soliz Garcia.

Mary Jane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved celebrating life and the holidays with her family. She gave the gift of laughter and love to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Jose Manuel Garcia, Samuel Garcia and Juan Luis Garcia, and sister, Guadalupe G. Sanchez.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Willie Arausa; daughters, Christina McCutchen (Brandon) and Sarah Arausa; grandchildren, David J. McCutchen and William W. McCutchen; sisters Juanita Villanueva, Victoria Heissler, Rosa Linda Thompson, Mary Louisa Velarde and Ruby Ann Gutierrez; and brothers Augustine Garcia Jr. and Joe Frank Garcia.

Rosary will be recited Nov.17, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. and Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, followed by Interment at Hondo Cemetery Annex.
