Mary Emma (Graff) Johnson, age 81, of Hondo passed away Monday, June 25, 2007. She was born August 12, 1925, in Hondo to Adolph and Pauline (Mann) Graff. She attended St. John's Elementary School and LaCoste High School. Mary Emma was employed 34 years as Medina County Automotive Title Clerk. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, St. John's Altar Society and St. John's Historical Society. Hermann Sons Lodge 161, Post 8134 VFW Auxiliary, Castro Colonies Heritage Assn., and the USS Chester Assn. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ralph Graff; and sisters, Corine Zuercher and Alice Justine Kleppe. She is survived by her husband, Clyde W. "Bud" John-son; daughter, Janet Johnson Watson of Spring; sister-in-law, Hazel Graff of Hondo; brother-in-law, George Zuer-cher of LaCoste; and nieces and nephews. Rosary was recited Thursday, June 28, at 10:30 a.m ., followed by the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Entombment was at Hondo Cemetery, St. John's Mausoleum. Pallbearers were Ken Graff, Bubba Montalvo, Jack Van Horn, Jeff Zuercher, Allen Zuercher, and Ken Van Rens.
