Mary Loretta Nehr was born June 1, 1909 in D'Hanis, Texas. She passed away June 10, 2003 in Rockport at the age of 94 years and 9 days. Mary was preceded in death by her parents: John M. & Mary Ann (Karrer) Koch; Husband: William A. Nehr; Sisters: Hattie Reinhart, Annie Klasing, Kate Ney, Christina McLeese, Amelia Grimsinger, Theresa Finger, Emma Finger, Selma Rothe; Brother: Ervin Koch. Surviving are is her daughter: Mary Ann Rector and husband Russell of Somerville; six grand children and 9 great grandchildren. The Rosary will be at 2:30 pm on Friday, June 13, and the Funeral Mass will be at 3:00 pm on Friday, June 13, both at Holy Cross Catholic Church in D'Hanis. Interment will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery.
