Mary Olivia Wells, 90, died on March 4, 2016, in Cypress, Texas. She was born November 7, 1925 to Maynard and Olivia (Bowland) Davidson in Springfield MO. She is preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Harvey Renken and John Henry Wells Jr. Mary is survived by a sister, Alice Brewster of Westford MA. She also leaves her step-family, son, John H. Wells III and wife Colleen of Cypress; grandchildren, Mikki Wells Harris and husband Lee of Cypress and Darren Wells of Providence RI; great-grandsons, Jordan and Donovan Harris of Cypress, as well as numerous in-laws from both the Renken and Wells extended families and the Johnson (Bowland) cousins in Utah and Conroe TX. She lived in Hondo most of her life after being transferred here by Western Union during WWII and later working 35 years in the accounting department of Universal-Rundle until retirement. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 8, at St. John Catholic Church in Hondo with interment to follow at Glendale Cemetery in Goliad TX at 2:00 pm.
